ADAPTATION OF PERSONNEL WITHIN TRANSFER FROM A PUBLIC TO BUSINESS ORGANIZATION

<p>Problem of adaptation of personnel in organizations is rather often issue nowadays. Business organizations try to maintain more and more detailed systems of adaptation to help new employees to feel comfortable at the new place. That is no doubt that it is aimed not only at people feelings, but most of all at the effectiveness of organization, since human resource is the most important resource for profitable and successful existence of every company.; Despite this, there are usually no special adaptation programs for employees, who have transferred from public organizations. There a lot of problems of such a kind of new employees since then. It is caused by practically other habits and standards of behaviour in public organizations and services. The problem is actual, because there are some organizations in Russia, where an even department of such employees is necessary. I mean special spheres of business as construction, real property and tobacco production that requires permanent state regulation and cooperation.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The novelty of the research is in studying of adaptation within transfer from one sphere to another (from public - to private) because there is a lack of works and empirical researches on this topic.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The scope of the research is the department of corporate relations of business organization, where employees transfer only from government structures. The aim of this research is formation of the directions of adaptation of personnel upon transfer from a public to a business organization.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; For this aim a number of following objectives should be executed:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Considering a problem of transition from public to business organizations in Russia</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Analysis of benefits of transition from public to business organizations for the government according to the UK experience</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Studying staffing problems in business organizations&lt;/h1&gt;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Making an observation of main problems of adaptation of employees&lt;/h1&gt;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Considering the technique of research of sociocultural indicators of employees behaviour the &quot;Foreshortening&quot;,</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Carrying out diagnostics of sociocultural indicators of employees&rsquo; behaviour of BAT-Russia and BAT-UK to reveal distinctions as in characteristics of behaviour of representative groups of employees in Russia and the UK</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Providing recommendations about formation of the directions of adaptation program of the organization.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The following research methods have been applied in developing of the master thesis:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -Analysis if theoretical background of the problem;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Documentary research (company reports);</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; -The survey;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Comparison analysis;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; - Mathematical-statistical and graphical analysis;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The master thesis has the following structure: literature review the most important works that make a great contribution to the research background of the topic are examined. Then the Theoretical part provides a brief description of transition from public to private organizations and the problems of adaptation within it. The Practical part continues with the international comparison of main sociocultural factors of employees’ behaviour and gives predictions for recommendations of optimization of adaptation process. Finally, the author comes to the conclusion and recommendations on directions of adaptation for employees who transfer from a public to a private organization.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In research conducted in this work I will face the comparative analysis on the basis of diagnostics of sociocultural factors of employees behaviour o of certain groups of employees, which will allow us to see distinctions in &nbsp;behavioural characteristics of average selection of employees from several departments of the company, which came to the company from commercial sector and the staff from the special department of the corporate relations who, proceeding from specifics of activity of the company (tobacco marketing), have high understanding of government regulation and requirements and are gathered in the company only with experience in public service.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
