The relationship between leadership styles and employee loyalty in organization

<p>&nbsp;</p><p>This study analyzes recent theoretical and empirical researches in the leadership literature. This paper explores correlation between transformational, transactional and passive leadership styles and degree of personnel loyalty in different organizations. The main goal of this paper is to prove the relationship between applied leadership style of superior official and employee loyalty. The object of this study is leadership. The subject of this paper is the relationship between leadership style and employee loyalty to supervisor.</p><p>This study involves two main chapters: theoretical research on leadership and employee loyalty and empirical research on the relationship between leadership style and employee loyalty. Particularly, the first chapter describes situational leadership theories, leadership styles and determines basic approaches to employee loyalty. The second part of this paper focuses on the identification the correlation between leadership styles and the degree of employee loyalty among a sample of employees at two companies: public and business. The methodology of this study is based on conducting a poll by using Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (Bass and Avolio) and &ldquo;The estimation of employee loyalty&rdquo; (L. G. Pochebut). The empirical research showed that there is positive correlation between transformational leadership and high and medium employee loyalty and transactional leadership positive correlates with medium and low loyalty.&nbsp;</p>
