The Evaluation of the Effects of Policy Changes of Government Regulation of Economic Activity on the Intensity of Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia

<p>My master&#39;s dissertation analyzes the impact of government regulation on the number of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. The regulation of mergers and acquisitions can cause quite serious damage to the economy. The topic of control M &amp; A market takes considerable relevance.</p><p>The work consists of an introduction, four chapters, conclusion, bibliography and two appendices. Besides the work includes 13 table and 8 pictures. Bibliography includes 51 source.</p><p>Mergers and acquisitions are the most common forms of redistribution rights for corporate control and concentrate the assets of several legal entities in one of the most effective hands.</p><p>In this paper, the subject of research is the dependence of the amount of mergers and acquisitions in Russia on different factors, especially from state regulation. The object of the study was the number of mergers and acquisitions in Russia. The aim of this work is to identify the amount depending on mergers and acquisitions of state regulation of the market in Russia.</p><p>According to an aim, the following problems have been put forward:</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to reveal the theoretical aspects of the transfer of rights of corporate control of Russia;</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to analyze the M &amp; A market in the last 13 years;</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to show the industry and members of mergers and acquisition;</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to identify the main reasons of mergers and acquisitions;</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to find quantitative and qualitative impact of macroeconomic and microeconomic indicators on the number of mergers and acquisitions;</p><p style="margin-left:2.0cm;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; to analyze the effects of government regulation on the number of transactions.</p><p>The goals and objectives involved the use of statistical data are widely available and econometric software.</p><p>When writing the work I used data of Rosstat, Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, legislative and regulatory acts.</p><p>In this paper we obtained the following conclusion - the changes in the legislation significantly affect the number of mergers and acquisitions in Russia, and reducing their number</p>
