Features of corporate culture in its motivational aspect

Therefore, employee retention in the organization through staff motivation becomes the primary task of management. In addition, an effective incentive system must conform to the traditions, norms and rules adopted by the company. Thus, it is necessary to take into account connection between organizational motivational climate and corporate culture.Also, staff motivation is one of the main functions performed by company culture. Some manifestations of culture provide a motivational impact, encouraging employees to work actively. So, the correct approach can let the culture to be a powerful motivator and tool for organizational goals achievement.The research paper presents the results of the research about corporate culture and motivational climate relation in the Enterprise "Alidi".The goal is to examine the corporate culture and motivational climate of the Enterprise "Alidi" and develop the basic motivational components of the culture.Objectives of the study:- To study the conceptual device in the field of organizational culture and staff motivation.- To consider connection between corporate culture and personnel motivation system.- To develop authoring tools matching corporate culture and staff motivation in the organization.- To examine motivational climate of the enterprise "Alidi".- To diagnose organizational culture of the analysed enterprise.- To analyze motivational system and corporate culture components of the enterprise "Alidi" and develop a list of cultural elements that have a motivational effect.The study confirmed the following hypotheses:1. Organizational culture affects the motivational system through certain manifestations and components that have motivational effect on employees.2. The lowest motivational effect is provided by the level of organizational culture which includes its obvious and observable manifestations.The hypothesis that proclaimed values, mission and vision have the greatest motivational impact did not receive confirmation.Methodological framework of the research is amounted by the authorial study, including three stages: diagnostics of corporate culture using D. Denison’s "Questionnaire of organizational culture"; analysis of motivational climate through individual questionnaire of employees according to authorial methodology; matching motivation and corporate culture of the organization based on E.Schein’s model of organizational culture structure.By the results of the research the model of organizational culture of the enterprise including the ratio of motivational factors and cultural components at every level of corporate culture was developed.Obtained results can be employed in the enterprise "Alidi" in order to improve staff motivation system using existing corporate culture components. Moreover, the described research methodology can be applied to other companies in order to determine the motivational features of organizational culture.
