The aim of this work is the selection and adaptation of the theoretical model for determining the cost of a professional athlete (football market in particular) and to identify factors that affect the amount of transfer under a contract with a professional club.

To achieve the goal of research is necessary to solve the following tasks:

- Carry out the theoretical and methodological research and analysis of existing approaches;

- Hypothesized to further validate the theoretical model;

- To analyze the existing approaches to contract pricing in the football industry, evaluate their pros and define constraints ;

- Adapt the model, taking into account the specifications of the market;

- Conduct data collection and analysis of samples for testing theoretical models;

- Perform testing and validating the accuracy of the model, to identify limitations of the model;

- Develop recommendations for the use of research and analysis capabilities of the model in other sports.

Object of study is the transfer price of the transition footballer from one team to another. Subject of investigation - factors affecting the possibility of modeling the cost of the contract in professional football.

The present study focuses on the factors determining the contract value, allowing to establish the relationship between the contract price and the results obtained after its conclusion.

Scientific novelty of the research will be to adapt the theoretical model for the cost of professional football. Despite the considerable importance of the issue and the obvious need for effective variants of its decision, the academic sphere is still not presented a sound basis, which can be the basis for the practice. Specifically studied model has not been applied to this market and has not been tested in academic studies, although its problems can be traced a number of parallels with the problems of professional sports.

Applicability allow clubs to increase effectiveness of the transfer policy that will affect the performance of the club as a whole and allow to gain a competitive advantage in the market of professional sports.

The study consist of two parts methodology:

1) Building a model based on the methodology of scientific knowledge, the system analysis and synthesis of the existing economic model.

The model will be used method of simulation;

Modeling application for our research is primarily due to the lack of reliable information on the subject and there is an uncertainty .

2) To test the model (hypothesis testing) methods we used:

- Qualitative comparison of prices;

- Expert evaluations ;

- Expert analysis.

Thus, transfer in the sample for testing hypotheses included data transfers that meet the following criteria:

- Selection of transfers carried out on European football market (using the research methodology of the authors on the same subject, the European football market for this study is the most diverse and interesting). According to research talents are concentrated in these leagues

- In order to have comparable pricing parameters , the transfer was seen for the last base of the transfer period (winter 2012-2013 , summer 2013 , winter 2013-2014 ), in the foundations were selected as the data of summer and winter in 2013 - which were record in terms of the cost of transfers (total amounted to 3.34 billion dollars).

- The greatest response and publicized in public magazines get enough large transfers, so this study will be considered only transfers worth more than 10 million euros.

Thus, we obtained data from various sources, but the priority is giving the most expert opinion , we assume portal: CIES Annual review of football players, which provides information on the estimated cost of the most expensive transfers 60 players of the top five European leagues (Spain , England , Germany , France, Italy), during each transfer window . The sample data is added and adjusted with information about transfers portals Transfermarkt.de, Kicker Sportmagazin and others.

In the expert evaluation of data for testing the model to the analysis presented 60 players selected for observation.
