<p>This paper exemine the modern system of assessing the effectiveness of executive authorities at the regional level in Russia. The system of executive bodies has a range of functions, wich should be embodied well for the socio-economic development of the region. Also assessment the affectiveness of the system &nbsp;is not only a tool for monitoring the performance of official authorities, but also a tool to review and propose the best management techniques to identify and eliminate economic and social problems. Russian esteblished valuation metedologies are subject criticism from the expert community. This paper discusses the problem of comlex evaluation of the effectiveness of executive authorities in Russia, also analyzed foreign practice in assessing regional authorities. Reveales differencies in the organization of the assessment. Proposed new managerial and organizational solutions for the implementation of the tool for assessing effectiveness.</p>
