Peculiarities in the accounting methods of vehicle leasing companies - a case study: “Carcade-leasing”

<p>The bachelor&rsquo;s thesis on &ldquo;Peculiarities in the accounting methods of vehicle leasing companies - a case study: &ldquo;Carcade-leasing&rdquo;&rdquo; contains 7 figures and 30 tables. The research is 71 pages in volume. 43 references were used for writing this paper. Keywords: vehicle leasing, accounting, taxation, improvement.</p><p>Relevance of the thesis is that, despite the large number of publications that focus on leasing operations, issues of accounting methods of main subjects of leasing relations are not reduced. Besides accounting methods of lessors and lessees are controversial.</p><p>The purpose of the following thesis is developing methodological and practical recommendations to improve accounting and taxation of leasing operations in the company &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo;. Object of the study - the leasing company &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo;. Subject of research - methods of accounting in the leasing company.</p><p>The practical significance of the paper lies in the fact that the main conclusions of the thesis can be used by the company for more good financial results.</p><p>The first chapter of the thesis, entitled &ldquo;The Economic Content and regulatory frameworks of vehicle leasing&rdquo; deals with the history of leasing and legal and regulatory framework of leasing operations. Moreover economic and legal essence of leasing and the rights and obligations of the members in the leasing transaction are disclosed.</p><p>In the second chapter the title of which is &ldquo;Vehicle Leasing in the company &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo;&rdquo; economical and organizational characteristics of &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo; is composed, methods of calculating lease payments are considered and comparative characteristic of leasing and credit is made ​​ on the concrete example.</p><p>In the third chapter of the thesis, entitled &ldquo;Improvement of accounting in the leasing company &ldquo;Carcade leasing&rdquo;&rdquo; regulatory frameworks accounting for leasing transactions are analyzed, peculiarities in the accounting methods for lessors and lessees are disclosed, and ways to improve the accounting of leasing operations in the company &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo; are proposed.</p><p>On the example of the company &ldquo;Carcade Leasing&rdquo; the accounting aspects of depreciation of leased assets was considered, what accounting records are needed to transfer leasing asset from a lessor to a lessee. Furthermore, it was shown how the procedure of redemption of the leased property is represented in accounting , as well as how the early redemption of the leased asset is reflected. And also theoretical recommendations of improving the organization of accounting and optimization of taxation are developed in the company &ldquo;Carcade leasing&rdquo;. And as a result it was established that it is more profitable for the leasing company to register the leased asset on its balance sheet.</p>
