Managing emotional environment of employees in the process of mentoring (in JSC «AtomEnergoProect»)

<p style="text-align: justify;">The topic of the graduation work is &ldquo;Managing emotional environment of employees in the process of mentoring&rdquo;. The author reveals one of the aspects of social environment in the context of mentoring process which is a burning problem today. Relevance and importance of this topic is proved by growing interest to organization and implementation mentoring in modern companies. &nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The purpose of this paper is to study process of mentoring, its influence on emotional environment of employees and methods of managing this environment. To archive the goal the author is solving the number of tasks such as to disclose the concept of emotional environment, to study the process of mentoring, to analyze ways of managing emotional environment of employees in modern organizations, to evaluate existing emotional environment of employees in JSC &ldquo;Atomenergoproect&rdquo; and to create a program of managing emotional environment of employees in the process of mentoring for this company.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Theoretical research has found that emotional environment in management sphere can be considered as a combination of such elements as emotions, emotional intelligence, emotional spheres and emotional capital. It is possible to manage emotional environment with the help of following tools: creating project teams, organizational culture of the company, KPI system, and incentive system. But the author has focused on the process of mentoring as an effective tool. In this work mentoring is defined as multi-tasking process involving formation of personalities, transferring of knowledge and skills, maintaining positive emotional state of employees and adaptation in the company.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">For empirical research the project of mentoring in JSC &ldquo;Atomenergoproect&rdquo; was chosen. This company provides engineering services for the design and construction of nuclear power plants and reactors. To analyze and evaluate the emotional environment the author has used the following methods: the questionnaire of D.V.Lusin assessing emotional intelligence and questionnaire which was created by the author. 45 employees participated in this research. Also the author has made the content analysis of 30 Russian and 30 foreign articles from famous HR journals concerning mentoring process.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The results of content analysis has showed the relevance and importance of this topic and revealed the difference in understanding mentoring process in Russia and abroad. The practical study in JSC &ldquo;Atomenergoproect&rdquo; has found strength and weaknesses existing emotional environment of employees in the process of mentoring in the company. On the basis of this investigation the program of managing emotional environment of employees in the process of mentoring was developed. It includes 4 main directions: methodological, organizational, psycho-pedagogical and legal levels. This program will be used by the company in the nearest future.&nbsp;</p>
