Employee turnover: review of the problem

<p>The paper presents a survey of the literature on turnover. The goal of the paper is the study of the literature on employee successions depending on the presented models.</p><p>The analysis of 68 articles has been made. Models proposed by the authors are divided into several groups: CEO turnover, white-collar turnover, blue-collar turnover, collective turnover.</p><p>Econometric and non-econometric models are presented in each section. The unevenness of turnover studies with the shift towards Europe and the USA is pointed out. Specific features of employees&rsquo; turnover depending on the country, industry and the type of the firm are provided.&nbsp; The new approach to turnover study &ndash; collective turnover theory &ndash; is presented. Perspectives of the&nbsp; development of these studies are drawn and the directions of future work are given.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Keywords: employee turnover, CEO turnover, white collar turnover, blue-collar turnover, workers turnover.</p>
