The Graduate work is intended to cover the issue of scenario-strategic analysis in terms of its application to the process of strategic decision-making in an organization. The framework of the research presupposes not only conducting scenario-strategic analysis, but also involves diagnostic analysis of the present situation on the market.The general purpose of the research is to work out a practical strategic decision on assets management for a company working on the Russian market of telecommunications operating within the CDMA-450 pattern.To achieve the goal set the following tasks have been carried out :1. The theoretical aspects of strategic decisions are viewed ;2. Major methodological aspects of conducting scenario-strategic analysis are studied;3. The problem case is described;4. External factors influencing the company are analysed ;5. The internal environmental factors of the company are revealed;6. Potentially appropriate strategic alternatives for making decisions on the problem case are defined;7. The most relevant strategic alternative for perspective assets management at CDMA-450 pattern is exposed. 8. The strategic decision and final recommendations are developed. Methodological framework:• Methods of data analysis:Secondary data collection and analysis :Financial management accounts of the company;Standard documents analysisComparative analysis;Scenario-strategic analysis:Analysis of external factors of company’s environment (5 Porter’s forces, PEESTI analysis, life circle analysis, scenario analysis, etc.)Internal factors analysis (VRIO)Diagnostics for problem case (method by Isikava)Standard SWOT analysisThe method of strategic alternatives choice (scenario-strategic analysis) Main results:1.Taking the peculiarities of the branch studied into consideration ,mainly, its obsolete features, and considering the fact that the three companies involved belong to the same Holding, it turned out that some of the external and internal factors proved to be the same;2. As the outcome of scenario-strategic analysis conducted the most relevant strategic alternative for perspective approach to assets management at CDMA-450pattern have been defined. Furthermore, as a result of diagnostics of the present situation on the Russian market of telecommunications in CDMA-450 pattern two variants of eventual development have been worked out and further designed into additional scenario. 3. The results obtained in the course of scenario-strategic analysis have been harmonized with the diagnostic outcomes which allowed to suggest a universal strategic decision for all regions involved in performing CDMA operations.Practical significance of the research lies in the fact that due to harmonization of the results obtained in the course of the work with the application of scenario-strategic analysis the major external and internal factors influencing business processes and ecosystem of the company and the links between them have been defined. Owing to the detailed diagnostics done on the subject of present situation, the topical problems of particular business, including financial performance and regional peculiarities have been analysed and specific scenario for further events have been suggested. Overall harmonization of the results of scenario-strategic analysis with the local diagnostic results allowed to work out a universal strategic decision for each region.
