Terms of Trade in the Goverment with resource dependency

<p>This research devoted to the analysis of the terms of trade in the country with the resource dependency. The aim of this work was to assess the degree of influence of the terms of trade and export influence on the dynamics of the trade balance, as well as on the Russian economy as a whole. For a comprehensive study of the theme and to achieve these goals, the author has used scientific methods of research, in particular quality methods: a method for studying, organizing and analysis of scientific literature; quantitative methods: statistical and econometric analysis.</p><p>The author presented a theoretical analysis of the Russian and foreign literature on the problem of the &quot;resource curse&quot; in the various countries where classified mechanisms of this phenomenon in which it was manifested self, such as Dutch disease and the influence of the external sector.</p><p>The work contains the statistical data, where were characterized the modern trends of Russia&#39;s foreign trade, and demonstrated the importance of natural resource exports to the economy.</p><p>Besides the work presented an analysis of the empirical literature major valuation models that influenced the choice of the methodology and the practical part of the study of assigned scientific novelty.</p><p>The study presents an econometric analysis of two models depending on the rate of growth of GDP as an indicator of economic growth from exports and terms of trade. The testing was identified long-term growth rate of GDP dependence on exports, such a connection with the terms of trade, the test data was not found.</p><p>In conclusion the author comes to the conclusion of the necessity for in-depth study of this problem. Not only econometric studies, but also global forecasting, based on an analysis of previous periods can make a substantial contribution on the problem of &ldquo;resource dependence&rdquo; in Russia and other countries.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
