GRIEF WORK IN PSYCHOANALYTIC PROCCES (INDIVIDUAL CASE STUDY BASED)

<p>The work made by A. Leykina is devoted to exploration of possible influence of unfinished grief work in early childhood on how the person emotionally goes through changes and experiences losses in adulthood. To prove the hypothesis, exhaustive analysis of theoretical sources dealing with psychoanalytic approaches to grief work is maintained. As a result, interdependence of factors influencing the process of grief work is revealed. Psychoanalytic process dynamics is revealed within the framework of individual case study of grief work, in terms of object relations changes, transference and counter-transference, psychological defense mechanisms inherent to each stage as well as the setting requirements peculiarities.&nbsp; Successful early loss grief work release within the course of psychoanalytic consulting fosters conscious personality development, determines capability to cope with changes efficiently, to be able to take mature personal and professional decisions, to build satisfactory interpersonal relations.</p>
