<p>Subject: &ldquo;The influence of the deposit insurance system on the stability of the banking system in Russia&rdquo;</p><p>The work consists of 73 pages including 14 pictures and 2 tables. 49 sources were used in the work.</p><p>Keywords: deposit insurance system, stability of the banking system.</p><p>The work includes introduction, three chapters and conclusion.</p><p>The introduction comprises the relevance of the study, the aim and main objectives.</p><p>The first chapter includes fundamental issues of the Russian deposit insurance system.</p><p>The second chapter includes the comparison of the deposit insurance systems in the USA, Germany and Russia.</p><p>The third chapter comprises the analysis of the depositor&rsquo;s behavior during the financial crisis in 2008-2009. The chapter also identifies current problems in the Russian deposit insurance system and methods of their elimination.</p><p>In the end of the work there are main conclusions of the research.</p>
