The influence of moving quality on the mood

<p>Nowadays the problem of quality of life is one of the most important economic problems. Along with the traditional indicators scientists create new indexes considering human life satisfaction as an indicator of successful development. Happiness of human becomes important in determining the quality of life. With the knowledge of what determines a person&#39;s happiness and what affects it, we can build new economic policies aimed at improving the life of the country and the world. Various factors are influence on happiness, and one of the main is city. A key part of the infrastructure of the city is the transport system, which can affect the level of happiness.</p><p>The purpose of the presented work - assess the impact of various factors of human movement through the city on his mood. The users of transport are the object of study, and their mood is a subject of study.</p><p>Scientific novelty of the work is in creation of method of data collection and consideration of transport as a factor of influence on human happiness. Practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the main conclusions and recommendations contained in the study can be used to further improve the method of data collection, data processing, and use of it in urban studies.</p><p>In the first chapter of &quot;Economics of Happiness&quot; is described a new economic theory - the economics of happiness, the observation of the literature on this subject was done, examples of indices developed in the framework of this theory were described,&nbsp; and&nbsp; the&nbsp; factors affecting a person&#39;s happiness were found.</p><p>In the second chapter &quot;Assessing a person&#39;s mood and quality of movement&quot; is represented by the methodology developed for data collection, described the collected data and regression analysis, which revealed some trends depending quality of movement and mood of the person.</p><p>On the basis of the collected data was constructed a model of correlation between some factors, such as traffic jams, the duration of the way, time of day, type of transport and others, and mood. It was calculated that moving in the morning worsens mood, as it impair 0.5 points. A covariate values ​​are responsible for the movement on the ground public transport and metro showed that own car ride more pleasant than on public transport, as public transportation, mood deteriorates by 0.7 and 0.53 points. Hypothesis that the travel time and traffic jams affect a person&#39;s mood, were rejected.</p><p>As a result of these calculations disadvantages in the data collection methodology were identified and recommendations to improve research were developed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
