Assessing an impact of continuous monitoring on the effectiveness of FMCG Company’s control environment

<p>The purpose of this thesis is to assess the impact of Continuous Monitoring, as nowadays control mechanism, on Internal Controls environment of the organization. The study raises business issues of current concern such as enhancement of Internal Controls Environment effectiveness and optimization of Internal Controls procedures in terms of operational efficiency and resource allocation.</p><p>Using the methodology of D. Brewer &amp; W. List and its own method, the author examines the drivers of Internal Controls Environment effectiveness; he concludes that Continuous Monitoring increase its efficiency and effectiveness.</p><p>The study provides practical knowledge on the functioning of Internal Controls Environment and its mechanisms, in particular Continuous Monitoring.</p><p>The proposed method evaluates the Continuous Monitoring effectiveness and has a practical value for its assessment in terms of feasibility and deployment. Additionally it can be recommended for measuring the operational efficiency and cost effectiveness of organization&rsquo;s Internal Controls Environment.</p>
