Strategic project system development

<p><strong>The topic</strong> of the graduation project is the development of strategic project system.</p><p><strong>Key words</strong>: strategic project system, corporate strategic project system, methodology, data system, project office.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The research objects</strong>:</p><p>Companies working in the Russian market;</p><p>The jewelry company &ldquo;ADAMAS&rdquo;.</p><p><strong>The research subject</strong>:</p><p>Strategic project system.</p><p><strong>The research objective</strong> is to analyze the current situation in the field of strategic project management in Russian market and to determine the main factors and depended variables, that influence the decision-making process in the field of strategic project system organization, and also to consider and analyze the case of the development&nbsp; of corporate strategic project system in the &ldquo;ADAMAS&rdquo; company and to work out recommendations (in order to improve this system.</p><p>The theoretical analysis of the literature demonstrates the different aspects of strategic project system and reveals the contemporary insights in the field of strategic project management. The applied research demonstrates the result of survey of 57 companies working &nbsp;in the Russian market. The data was analyzed by using accurate methods of statistic analysis (correlation methods,&nbsp; H-test Kruskel-Wallis etc), performed with the program SPSS. These methods were used to determine the factors that influence the decision on strategic project system implementation.&nbsp; &nbsp;The observation methods and the in-depth interviews with the personal of the project office were also conducted in connection to the &ldquo;ADAMAS&rdquo; company. &nbsp;</p><p>In this graduation project the strategic project system, its elements, processes, benefits of introduction for business, current situation and peculiarities of strategic project management in the Russian market were analyzed by using the results of implementation of theoretical and practical research methods.</p><p>As a result of the strategic management analyses and the analyses of existing project management system of the &ldquo;ADAMAS&rdquo; company the problems have been revealed and the recommendations for the improving of strategic project system have been developed. These recommendations refer to the project methodology, data system, project office, project management, program management, portfolio management.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>The research study will be of primary significance to the board of directors, portfolio managers and project managers of &nbsp;the &ldquo;ADAMAS&rdquo; in terms of development or improvement of project strategy system in order to achieve potentially important business results. Moreover, the results of the research may be used for further analyses of peculiarities and trends in the field of strategic project management in Russia.</p><p>The project includes 95 pages, 24 tables, 6 drawings, 9 charts, 28 references.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
