<p>Graduate work: &laquo;Applying principles of system dynamics to managing transformational programs&raquo;</p><p>Key words: system dynamics, causal loops, managing programs, managing change, transformation, blueprint, benefits</p><p>Object of the study: retail chain &ldquo;X5 Retail Group&rdquo;</p><p>Subject of the study: a transformational program and applying principles of system dynamics to its design and implementation</p><p>Purpose of the study: to develop a change management program based on system dynamics with the construction of partial business process models before and after transformation.</p><p>Methodology: aggregation, simulation, causal diagrams, expert evaluation, content analysis, surveys.&nbsp;</p><p>Topicality: In case of an error in the type, order, pace and time of implementing the transformation, scenarios for the future development of the organization can be traced back to fatal. The topicality stems, on the one hand, fro, the theoretical unexplored implementation process of transition, and the other &ndash; the necessity of today&rsquo;s organizations in the practical implementation of the transformational concepts. The need to solve the problem of transformations is determined the growth of competition in the Russian retail market and the development of aggressive players, need for the most rapid and accurate response to the actions of competitors will make the usefulness of standards of program management</p><p>The essence of the work is reduced to the consideration of the system dynamics on transformation programs as a set of change management techniques to model and represent descriptively the process of transformation.</p><p>The analysis determined the applicability of the system-dynamics models for describing the current situation, creating blueprint and managing mega-projects, as well as specific and content recommendations for the implementation of the transformation in &ldquo;X5 Retail Group&rdquo;.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The volume: 74 pages, 14 tables, 22 figures, 55 sources used.&nbsp;</p>
