Phenomenon of congruency introduced by K. Rodgers represents interest in such fields of modern psychology as client-centered therapy and humanistic approach. We consider and investigate congruency in terms of spouse interactions. The main conjecture which motivated our research may be formulated as follows. Congruency of one of the spouses leads to the congruency of another one, vice versa, one’s incongruence leads to the other one's incongruence. To examine this conjecture we carried out qualitative analysis of ten semi structured interviews of spousal couples. The Method of Valid Theory is used to apply qualitative analysis. As a result our conjecture was partially confirmed.
