Personnel Evaluation Business Process Simulation and Analysis

<p>The work was carried out in the interests of the Perm region company, operated in the information technology field. Personnel evaluation is one of the key processes which take place in the management of staff at a enterprise. Each company solves questions connected with the organization of the evaluation process, such as the choice of a personnel assessment method, preparation of conditions for the implementation of a evaluation system and making personnel decisions on the basis of the results of the evaluation of staff.</p><p>The relevance of the topic is conditioned&nbsp; by the interest of any company in a highly qualified staff which is formed by means of the personnel evaluation process.</p><p>The main problem is the lack of operational information support of the process of employees appraisal and as a consequence - the adoption of inefficient personnel decisions, connected with recruitment for work, transfer to another position, promotion or lowering at work, issuance of financial incentives, punishment, sending for training. The results of the study will help to organize the process of personnel evaluation and to provide it with necessary information support, which is important for making effective personnel decisions.</p><p>The aim of the research is development of requirements for the automated system of personnel assessment on the basis of the results of simulation and analysis of the employees assessment business process in the IT company.</p><p>The work consists of introduction, two chapters and a conclusion.</p><p>The First Chapter presents an overview of the existing techniques and automated systems of personnel assessment. The Chapter focuses on the consideration of the peculiarities of the organization of the employees evaluation process of IT companies.</p><p>The Second Chapter presents the analysis of the subject area with the study of documents regulating the process of personnel evaluation in the company. Moreover the Chapter shows construction of models of the business process of personnel evaluation of the IT company of the Perm region, which are developed with tool ARIS Business Designer. The result of analysis is &quot;TO BE&quot; model of the business process. Moreover The Chapter demonstrates the proposed solution on automation of the staff evaluation process in the company. Requirements to the automated system are developed and the functions which need to be implemented in the information system of personnel assessment are defined in the Chapter.</p><p>The main results are:</p><ul><li>The recommendations for the company to combine several methods in the evaluation of personnel.</li><li>The constructed model &quot;AS IS&quot; and &quot;TO BE&quot; of business process of personnel evaluation in the IT company of the Perm region.</li><li>Requirements to information system of personnel assessment for the IT company of the Perm region.</li><li>Technical requirements for the automated system of personnel assessment in the IT company.</li></ul><p>The work contains 68 pages, 33 figures, four tables, and six applications with models of business processes of personnel evaluation in the company and one application with technical requirements for automated system of personnel assessment.</p>
