Implementation of critical chain project management in the company "Volga-Dnepr"

Graduate work “Implementation of critical chain project management in the company “Volga-Dnepr” overviews the key problem of project management which is low levels of projects efficiency. The problem is researched using the company’s example-project.The object of graduate work study is the company “Volga-Dnepr”The subject of graduate work study is the functioning processes of project management system in the company.The main goal of graduate work study is the elaboration of recommendation list how to implement critical chain method in project management (CCPM) of “Volga-Dnepr”, what will allow company to reduce the period of projects and stay within budget, increasing its trustworthiness and profit in airfreight market.Graduate work study consists of introduction, two chapters, conclusion, bibliography and application.The first chapter “Investigation of existing approaches to the use of critical chain method” takes under consideration the formation and justification of CCPM implementation via the analysis of approaches to project schedule management planning. It also identifies strong and weak points of existing theories and looks through the peculiarities of project by means of CCPM.The second chapter “Application of the method of critical chain project “Cargo Hubs” in the company Volga-Dnepr” analyses company’s activity in project management. Then it determines the key problem of it via logic trees method, develops the project schedule management planning of “Cargo Hubs” by the instrumentality of CCPM, introduces the recommendations how to apply the method in the company. Recommendation list includes the offers about the modification of behavior of project managers, directors and others. Alongside with it describes the main changes of KPI and approach to project uncertainty, taking into account the existing project culture.The volume of final qualifying work is 98 sheets. Illustrative material includes 11 tables, 1 graph, 27 figures and 3 appendices. List of sources consists of 33 name.
