During this research the author formulated the process of the development of the Russian model of CSR.</p><p>Russian and foreign companies, functioning in different fields on the territory of Russia were considered as a subject of the study.</p><p>Methodology: the analysis of secondary data, based on a detailed research of publicly available information, which is provided by the study subjects - Russian and foreign companies operating in the Russian market. It is important to mention that the study had two stages: the gathering of information, its systematization with the goal of facilitating the analysis of companies on the following criteries: the size of the organization, the industry, the region, the relationship with the parent company.&nbsp;</p><p>After the research, two hypotheses were nominated. First, which is about the importance of introducing a foreign concept of CSR, has been adopted, and the second, which states that the Russian companies do not accept international CSR principles, rejected. As the results, recommendations for improving the Russian model of CSR were revealed. To sum up, there are also findings on which aspects of CSR the company should pay special attention. Due to this fact, long-term strategy of steady-state organization can befound.</p>
