Domain Ontology Building for Project Management Business Game

<p>Graduate qualification work &quot;Domain Ontology Building for a Business Game Design Subsystem&quot; associated with design and implementation of the tool environment for the development of active learning methods (competence-based business games studio). Competence-based business game is an information system designed to produce a certain level of professional competence in the implementation of scenarios defined business process models domain. Issue of this work is relevant, because in order to formalize the real-world business process, based on which the business game script is being built, you need to build a domain model, which uses ontological modelling. The objective is to develop and construct the ontological domain knowledge base for the business game, which allows workers to form working business processes training one. During the work following problems were solved:</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; criteria for the concepts selection for ontological knowledge base were developed;</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; the subject area for the development of educational business processes was studied;</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ontology&nbsp; organization options were considered;</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; existing ontology development tools have been analyzed and the instrument for the implementation of the ontology was chosen;</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ontological knowledge base was designed;</p><p style="margin-left:53.45pt;">6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; further development of ontologies have been discussed.</p><p>The theoretical part of work describes the history of the concepts development such as the business process, the competence and the ontology, a comparison of ontology development tools for the most important criteria for this case. There are also given the concept of a&nbsp; business game, explores the history of its occurrence, kinds of games compared and those that will be used in the competence-based business games studio were selected.</p><p>In the practical part of the paper the subject area was investigated of the business process for which the ontology was created, described the selection of concepts for this ontology and described in detail each step of ontology building in the Prot&eacute;g&eacute; tool.</p><p>The result of the gratitude qualifying work is the ontology, which can be used to create a unified educational business processes for competence-based business games studio.</p><p>The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography and appendices.</p>
