Job satisfaction measurement effectiveness: comparative analysis of methods

<p>Job satisfaction is one of the key concepts in the field of Organizational and Industrial Psychology. Nevertheless, different and often contradictory measurement approaches exists. This paper is dedicated to the choice of one optimal measurement method and its possible improvement using both literature review and development of Brief Index of Affective Job Satisfaction (BIAJS). The long-run objective of this paper is the creation of brief and highly convenient measuring method which can be used on Russian subjects, making it possible to conduct further development of affective approach in measuring job satisfaction.</p>
