Faculty: Faculty of Psychology

Educational Programme: Bachelor

Year of Graduation: 2014

Welfare is the most relevant and important topic of our time. The attention to well-being is based on the continuous interest in the expanded role of tangibles in modern society. The purpose of this study is to explore the understanding of well-being. The relevance of this study can be proved by a lack of the investigation into well-being in Russia and of inaccurate concepts оf well-being in encyclopedic publications. The interest to the area of well-being in foreign psychology is high. Unfortunately , Russian psychologists have not explored this issue. Therefore, the study of this phenomenon is relevant and its findings might have high practical applicability, especially for enterprises willing to improve the process of labor. However, the study has some delimitations. The proposed problem is multifaceted, so we are not able to explore all the aspects of this issue in diploma paper. Thus, we will study the idea of subjective well-being. Furthermore, it seems reasonable to analyze the impact of welfare on the assessment of labor. This is a good basis for further research. The practical significance of this work lies in the ability to enrich textbooks and manuals. Moreover, this work will be useful for companies willing to improve the process of labor.
