Developing an approach to illiquid goods management on the example of trading communications equipment company

Considered company strives to improve its operations and aims to solve the problem of illiquid products.</p><p>The general purpose of this study is to develop an approach in order to manage illiquid goods in trading communications equipment company, while using theoretical knowledge obtained in the analysis of literary sources, for elimination problem and improvement the effectiveness of the considered company. The main elements, on which developing approach aimed, are the warehouse of company and its information system.</p><p>This work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the activities of the company, its financial and competitive position, and, furthermore, its logistics system. It identifies the main problem of the company &ndash; illiquid goods. The second chapter demonstrates the main literature of the subject and selects the most convenient approaches for solving the problem. Finally, the third chapter describes the developed approach for managing illiquid products relating to the considered company. Proposed implementation of the following activities was investigated in this paper: actualization of sequential actions of the concept 5s in the warehouse to maintain a certain order to prevent the occurrence of illiquid goods; stock-taking to control illiquid goods; introduction of the new unit in the information management system, in order to improve integration and reduce illiquid products. Also produced recommendations are highlighted for organizational restructuring.</p><p>The result of applying the above-mentioned measures is aimed to offer a specific approach to solve the problem of illiquid products in warehouse of the company. In conclusion, there was analysis of the economic efficiency of the proposed solutions, the result of which is presented in the DuPont system of analysis, where productiveness of proposed actions is proved.</p><p><strong>Length </strong>of bachelor&rsquo;s thesis: pages &ndash; 85, pictures &ndash; 18, tables &ndash; 11, list of literary sources &ndash; 25, appendix &ndash; 2 on 4 pages.&nbsp;</p>
