Unstructured Electronic Documents Analysis as a Means of Enterprise Information System Optimization

<p>The actuality of this paper consists in that fact that existing architectures of corporate information systems is not considered substantive content of electronic documents. Every day every organization in the process of its business creates thousands of documents, both paper and electronic. One of the major problems of organizations is not so much number of documents as the need for effective use technology to improve the processes of working with electronic documents in an information system through the methods of analyzing the contents of the documents, its semantics.</p><p>The aim of this paper is to design the architecture of a corporate information system, which includes elements of the semantic analysis technology of electronic documents. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following objectives:</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; analysis of existing enterprise information systems architectures; electronic document; semantic technologies used in corporate information systems;</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; identifying the model of business processes associated with the processing of documents; analysis and improvement of business processes;</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; collection and formulation of requirements developed architecture;</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; architecture design of corporate information systems;</p><p style="margin-left:71.45pt;">-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; development of the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the architecture.</p><p>It should be noted that the corporate information system architecture will inevitably entail a change in the concept document presentation in the information system, since the need for intelligent solutions semantic approach to improve work processes with electronic documents (semantic search, analysis, cataloging, classification).</p><p>In this connection, the first stage preceding the immediate retrieval of electronic document data and subsequent processing, a step of structuring the document data. Thus, in the scheme proposed structure of an electronic document and its information model, which will be the object that represents the electronic document in the architecture of the information system.</p><p>The main results obtained in this paper are: described business processes and designed the architecture of corporate information systems oriented to operate with electronic documents, as well as the technique of evaluating the effectiveness of the designed architecture.</p>
