<p align="center"><strong>ANNOTATION</strong></p><p align="center">on the thesis for the magister degree in</p><p align="center">Topic: &laquo;THE SPECIFICS OF THE PROCESS OF PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACH TO EXECUTIVE COACHING&raquo;</p><p align="center">Author: DREMLYUGA TATIANA</p><p align="center">Realized: at the chair of Psychoanalysis and Business Consulting</p><p align="center">&nbsp;Higher School of Economics</p><p>Specialty 0Х.00.0Х &ndash; psychology</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The purpose of the Thesis </strong>is to disclose the specifics of psychoanalytic approach to executive coaching in the organizations when performing individual work with client.</p><p><strong>The scope </strong>of this research is the process of executive coaching in the company.</p><p><strong>The subject of the research </strong>is the specifics of the process of psychoanalytic approach to executive coaching within the framework of individual work of executive coaches with clients &ndash; company Executives.</p><p>This research is one of the first complex studies in Russia in the field of psychoanalytic approach to executive coaching in the organization in respect to investigation of the process of individual work of executive coaches with their clients.</p><p>The key results and conclusions of the work are as follows:</p><p>The basic feature of psychoanalytic (psychodynamic) approach to the process of executive coaching is that it is focused on one of the most influential sources of management inefficiency, their destructive conduct, and conflictive relationships within the team &ndash; unconscious, irrational behavioural patterns characteristic of people in the organization.</p><p>This focus determines specifics of work of executive coaches applying psychoanalytic approach in the process of coaching project in the organization on several stages of the project: the stage of initial analysis of the needs of organization in respect to the coaching project and the stage of data collection about the client. These specifics apply to the methods and time of diagnostics of the customer and the company, which in its turn determines tools and techniques to be used in such process.</p><p>In order to identify specifics of the process of individual work in executive coaching applying psychoanalytic (psychodynamic) approach various models of the process of individual work in executive coaching have been investigated.</p><p>Publications by international executive coaching theorists and experts in media, internet resources, and archives of scientific research served as empirical basis for the research.</p><p>The results of this study showed that the key difference (specifics) between the process of individual work in the paradigm of psychoanalytic approach to executive coaching and the process of other approaches to coaching (not associated with the models of psychotherapeutic schools) is represented by the absence of focus on the stage of planning of changes in cooperation with customers.</p><p>Practical importance of the work lies in the fact that theoretical material of this work and the obtained results of the research can be used by the Russian executive coaches applying psychoanalytic approach to executive coaching, which is new for our market. These materials and results can be used for clear understanding of the process of coaching by the representatives of the customer company and by own customers &ndash; business managers.</p><p>The materials and results of the work can be also used in the development of training programs for executive coaches.</p><p>Keywords: executive coaching, coaching of managers, business coaching, psychoanalytic approach.</p>
