Assessment of the effects of public sector cuts (On the example of the subjects of Russian Federation)

<p>&nbsp;</p><p>In this paper we discuss previous researches on the fiscal impact of privatization revenues and factors that contribute to persistent fiscal budget balance. Furthermore, we try to answer the question whether there is a link between an introduction of privatization and a regional budget balance on the example of the subjects of the Russian Federation. We attain to prove if this relationship is positive or negative and what are other effects of privatization on a particular region. Finally we provide a slight analysis of PPP&rsquo;s benefits to the regions&rsquo; fiscal positions.</p>
