Mechanisms of development of the Soviet power's image by means of radio of the 1920th (through the example of the radio newspaper editions).

<p>This graduation paper contains analysis of the mechanism of formation the image of the Soviet power by means of the radio of 1920s. The analysis is based on historical-theoretical works and archival sources. Research aims are the definition of theoretical and methodological basics, the selection of stages and levels of radio development in the analyzed period, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of decryption of radio newspaper texts ROSTA in 1920s.</p><p>The theoretical bases of the research are works of domestic and foreign researches of media culture. In this paper the works of P.Gurevitch, V.Ruzhnikov, A.Sherel, J.Baudrillard, G. Debord and others are used.</p><p>The basic methods of the research are the historical, structural and functional, narrative methods, as well as the method of content analysis, discourse analysis and critical linguistics. The empirical base is decryptions of radiotexts of &quot;Radio newspaper ROSTA&quot; of the 1920s, stored in the State archive of the Russian Federation.</p><p>The next summary was drawn:</p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In its development radio newspaper passed two main stages. The first stage is the establishment of the radio as a technical means of information transmission (1918 &ndash;1922). The second stage is the development of radio newspaper (1922-1925).</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The analysis of macro-level radio newspaper showed that the flow of information was sent to all social and age categories of the population. The peculiarity of the radio newspaper was in the scoring of the printed text aimed at a wide audience. In this sense, radio newspaper became a kind of mass media, performing the function of mass communication in the 1920s.</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The text of radio newspaper can be attributed to the media text distributed in audio way. The distribution channel was directly radio transmitting device. Radiotext had some levels of presentation. These levels are reflection (news headings), reconstruction and myth (musical and poetic headings).</p><p style="margin-left:18.0pt;">The next tasks of media texts of Radio newspaper ROSTA of the 1920s are revealed with the help of content analysis: wide dissemination of information, the formation of political literacy of audience, fast and efficient transfer of information. In practice of the functioning of radio newspaper such properties of broadcasting as maximum speed, oral contact with the audience, the simultaneous effect on the whole audience became apparent. &nbsp;Discourse analysis gave an opportunity to highlight the structural elements of the radio newspaper - rubrics (news, sports, music, scientific etc.). The text analysis showed that the development of the radio information in the second half of the 1920s has undergone a change towards increase of news programs and rubrics.<br />The method of critical linguistics has allowed to allocate myths about the authorities, of a bright future, joy of proletarian labor contained in the texts.</p>
