Supervisor</p><p>Kolik Veniaminovich Alexander , Ph.D. , Associate Professor</p><p>Currently, when there is a high level of competition in the FMCG market, companies appear wide range of tasks that need to be addressed, based on its experience and expertise companies competitors. Problem of customization of the market, requirement of building flexible solutions in the field of production and marketing &ndash; all of the above are forcing companies to pay more attention to the optimization of logistics activity, as well as the flexibility to respond to internal and external requests, maintain a level of service at a high level and be able to quickly adapt to the rapidly changing economic environment with optimal cost resources. Share of logistics costs of some businesses can reach more than 40% of the total costs of the company - a position explained incorrect construction of the logistics process in the chain movement of finished goods and material resources. Clear tracking of problems and the search for optimal solutions as well as managerial decision-making leads to either reduce costs or to increase revenues. That is why the rational construction of logistics processes as a lever for improving the company&#39;s profitability .</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This Graduate work devoted to the issue of reducing logistics costs by analyzing existing inefficient logistics intermediaries in the distribution chain manufacturing company.</p><p>The aim of this thesis is to identify the most costly logistics intermediaries in terms of lost sales and a more responsible choice contractor in the distribution.</p><p>The objectives of this thesis is:</p><p>- Analysis of the company;</p><p>- Analysis of the company&#39;s organizational structure and activities of all departments;</p><p>- Analysis of the competitive environment of the company;</p><p>- Identification of bottlenecks in the distribution of products;</p><p>- Consideration of the theoretical foundations on identified problems</p><p>- Offer optimal decisions regarding the problems identified based on the literature.</p><p>During the initial analysis, it was found that the company carries high logistical costs due to the high percentage of loss of perishable products . First of all, it has a negative impact on customers, the company&#39;s reputation, sales, and therefore the company was forced to supply products to customers at their own expense .</p><p>Next were the theoretical aspects of the development of the distribution system manufacturing company, as well as methods and techniques for the storage and transportation of perishable goods.</p><p>Then, on the basis of the method of comparison logistics intermediaries criteria that are important for a manufacturing company, has been carried out to choose the best service provider on the basis of the analytical hierarchy , and thus, the companies were asked to go to the two new service providers.
