One of the possible approaches can be the reduction of logistics costs as a result of inventory control models implementation.The purpose of this study is to develop the approach suitable for one of the major telecommunication companies in Russia in order to improve inventory management of customer equipment within it.The activities of the Logistics Department of investigated company are analyzed, and the problems were revealed. The main problem lies in the field of inventory management and is in the large amount of customer equipment at the warehouse of responsible storage of logistics provider.Having examined current researches and studies in the specified academic field, the organizational and economic recommendations on elimination of the revealed problems and improvement of inventory management of customer equipment at the warehouse were given.In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed changes is evaluated via the model of strategic profit.Length of bachelor’s thesis is 80 pages, number of pictures are 7, number of tables are 20, number of references are 26.
