REGIONAL ISSUES OF THE LABOR MARKET

<p>In article questions of a choice and job search by the workers possessing various social and demographic characteristics are considered. The special attention is paid to influence of religious identity of workers on idea of good work, a choice of channels of job search. The econometric assessment of influence various a determinant on strategy of search and a work choice is carried out.</p><p>The mechanism of functioning of labor markets is characterized by process of a choice of work which provides establishment of a real ratio between ideas of the person of a workplace, character and an operating mode, and also the opportunities given by the employer. Owing to incompleteness of information and uncertainty which exist on a labor market, choice process by individuals of vacant workplaces is connected with their various world outlook ideas of a good workplace among which the least studied is the confessional aspect of these views. People began a thicket to realize the religious identity and to be guided by it at a choice of character and a work place, and also channels of its search. The listed circumstances staticize the conducted research.</p><p>The work purpose - research of representations of employees of various religious groups about the most significant factors in strategy of search and a work choice on a labor market.</p><p>Work contains three chapters. In chapter 1 the short characteristic of factors of formation and features of functioning of the regional labor markets is given, one of which key indicators is employment of economically active population. In chapter 2 theoretical approaches to an assessment of influence of religious identity on strategy of search and a work choice are considered. In thirds to the head empirical estimates of influence of religious identity are given in search and choice strategy the job got on the basis of data of the Caucasian barometer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> job search strategy, social and demographic characteristics of individuals, religious identity, multinomial logit-model</p>
