The ways of increasing efficiency of logistics provider`s activity (the case of "FM Logistic Vostok")

<p>In this paper, based on the study of literature has been proposed package of measures to improve the efficiency of logistics intermediary and the sequence of their implementation. This sequence of steps has been tested on an example of a major logistics 3PL provider. In this research was examined the impact of the proposed measures logistic process improvement over the operating and financial performance of the company. In this paper, firstly, was determined the role of the logistics process in a warehouse in increasing the efficiency of logistic intermediary. Secondly, typical problems in the planning and implementation process at the warehouse logistics logistical intermediary were analyzed. Thirdly, the system of increasing efficiency of logistics process in the warehouse was developed, namely for its two components: the process of cargo handling in the warehouse and logistics coordination. Fourthly, the economic effect of the proposed measures was assessed and illustrated with the strategic outcome model that clearly reveals that the proposed action will create a substantial reserve to reduce operational costs of the company and enhance its effectiveness.</p>
