Gender aspects of decision making by leaders in situation of time pressure

<p>The present paper describes a theoretical and empirical study of the gender specifics of decision making by top - managers in terms of lack of time. In the theoretical review, it was found that most researchers not to throw the concept of &quot;gender&quot; and &quot;sex&quot;, when considering leaders, resulting in some types of social gender unresolved. It was also revealed that, the topic of decision making by leaders in terms of lack of time is undisclosed. Therefore, in addition to theoretical studies, have conducted an empirical study involving the analysis of differences in decisions feminine, masculine, or androgynous leaders in situations of time pressure. In the empirical study identified the characteristics of decision making by top - managers with different gender in in situations of time pressure. It was also created and tested a generic business case that can be used in further studies. In the end it was proven that top - managers with different gender make decisions with insufficient time differently.</p>
