The study, interpretation and application of international experience in the practice of Russian schools contributes to the optimization of the system of education quality evaluation and improvement of its validity with respect to international standards. The paper studied the experience demanded by the world's systems for evaluating the quality of education and recognized by leading universities around the world. One of them is successfully functioning in the framework of the International Baccalaureate, the other - international exam FCE. The purpose of this work - to assess the level of compliance with international standards of the exam, as well as the DP and FCE exam requirements GEF to explore the possibility of their use in the certification of graduates of Russian schools. The object of the study was the final exam. The subject of the study - the procedure of its holding, goals, content and level of complexity of tasks, competencies and verifiable assessment criteria in the light of the requirements of the GEF and international standards for learning outcomes. The work is taken into account the opinion of teachers, leading training, both for the exam, and the exam DP and FCE. Revealed positive results of the steps taken to improve the evaluation of the quality of education, and shortcomings. The main difference is the orientation of international exams test the results of training is not the reproduction of knowledge, and their application, planning and carrying out practical and laboratory work. The results of the first will be useful to specialists of education management and administration of educational institutions in determining the prospects for participation in the programs of the International Baccalaureate, as well as in the use of international experience to improve the effectiveness of the educational process.
