Marketability of North-Eastern Federal University Educational Programs in Terms of Internationalization

This research represents the project of NEFU academic programs promotion. The object of the research limits the frame of the project but the data obtained within the time might be useful for the researches who are interested in the problems of higher education internationalization. We consider the internationalization as the way to improve the marketability of the educational programs and it significantly depends on general factors (geographical position of educational establishment, development strategy) and inner readiness of the academic environment to implement the ideas of internationalization. Internationalization of academic environment might be the way to achieve better results in terms of competitiveness and marketability of educational products. This will result in efficient recruitment of the best national and international students. The thesis conducts analysis of international experience of the universities from different countries, analysis of data published in international reports on higher education internationalization for the last 2 years. On the basis of the data collected, SWOT analysis the reasons that considered to be the obstacles for more efficient internationalization have been generated and the strategies for further development have been suggested including the development of international programs, intensification of cross-cultural communication, modernization of language education.
