In the present study the author analyze political role of the Islamic institutions in Egypt during the second half of XX – early XXI centuries. After the revolution in Egypt in 1952 relationship between the state and the Islamic institutions has transformed so that the islamic institutions, responding to the needs of the regime, enhanced their political activity, which is happening till nowadays.
