The Development of Social Pension Insurance System in China and its Problems (Guangdong Province)

The topic of the research is “The development of Social Pension Insurance System in China and its Problems (Guangdong province)”. The project consists of 51 pages, an introduction, three chapters, references, 2 applications. The object of the project is social insurance systems in socialist countries and in developing countries of the Asian and Pacific region and in People's Republic of China. The subject of research is to reveal the features of pension system of China and the problems of its development. The general purpose of the academic project is to study the features of the Chinese pension system and its challenges. The structural-functional approach is used for the research because we need to study the structure of the pension system of China, its elements and their characteristics. The project also includes methods of empirical research - analysis of the sources. Descriptive statistics were applied by using tables and graphs. The first chapter describes the general characteristics of pension systems, their types and functions. The second chapter studies the history of the development of the pension system of China, its problems and probable solutions for them, and describes the pension system of Guangdong province. The third chapter discusses the future trends of the pension system of China and proposals for its improvement. The conclusion contains the main conclusions of the project.
