The topic of my research refers to quite modern evolving investigation. The study objective is to analyze the efficiency of Russian entrepreneurs in Chinese market and give some predictions of Russia – China business communications. The first chapter addresses to the issue of how and when Russia turned his attention to Asia. We have a historical reference, since 1996 to the present day, as well as the interpretation of the "pivot to Asia". The conclusions in this chapter are ambiguous: on the one hand, the differences in mentality, oversaturation of the Asian market and the interest of the Chinese partners only in the Russian raw material criticize faith in China; on the other hand projects of the Russian state and private entrepreneurs are conducted constantly, even during the crisis years, which certainly speaks in favor of the economic relations. The second chapter presents a number of case studies. Chapter three highlights the potential problems of entrepreneurs who come to the Chinese market and the prospect of the Russian-Chinese relations. In the study, the following issues were identified: a high barrier to entry to the Chinese market; complex bureaucratic system in China; fundamental differences in mentality; the existence of China's shadow banking system. The future of Russian-Chinese relations will depend on many factors: the development of border crossing points and transport links between Russia and China; optimization of Russian-Chinese trade structure; the development of joint scientific and technological research; the development of infrastructure in the Far East. To summarize, we should say that it is difficult to answer the question "are we really efficient in China?". Thus, the effectiveness of the Russian businessmen in China can be much higher if there are factors taken into account cultural differences and if it is carried out active work to help the businessmen at the state level in both countries.
