The present paper is intended to cover the problem of the dating of Western Zhou bronze vessels and changes in the location of the ornamentation on the vessel, depending on the belonging to a cultural historical area. Firstly, both the North and South regions have the one stripe ornament approximately in the same proprtion . Secondly, in the North the most widely used ornamentations are filled with a strip of ornamentation, with alternating patterns, and entirely covered with ornaments, whereas in the South - with geometric designs, a stripe of ornament and alternating patterns. That is why in present paper it is possible to speak of a "twofold region", as the North and South have the same set of vessels, and different percentage of the ornament types on vessels. Thirdly, being dominant in the region at an early stage, a certain type of ornament localization is gradually moving to another region in the later stage. So there is the interaction between the two cultures in the region of East Asia.
