Ideological and Political Competititon of China and the USA in the Covering of Chinese and American Media

This paper is dedicated to the overview of the American-Chinese relationship as the multi-level bilateral interaction. The special attention is given to the ideological aspect of the relationship which largely determines modern foreign policies of both countries. The paper consists of an introduction, three chapters,a conclusion and a list of used literature and sources. The amount of work is 99 pages. In the first chapter it is described how ideology affects the direction of the foreign policy in both countries and noted the differences in understanding of the key concepts of the International system, according to which the interpretation of the world events is realized. In the second chapter, The ideological confrontation that stands behind each nation’s approach to external policy is clarified by analyzing the national media in China and the USA as new actors in International Affairs. Finally, the relationship between China and the USA regarding ideological aspect is examined on the example of media coverage of different news. Author: Kutuzova A.N.
