Study of Innovative Services Development in Russia and Other Countries

Innovation activity, until recently, was studied only in the manufacturing sector, excluding the service sector. The main reason for this phenomenon is traditional association innovation development with manufacturing. However, in many cases, the main significance for the consumer is not the product, but related services. Therefore, modern countries consider the development and increase in the competitiveness of the services sector as one of the most significant tasks, it is impossible to implement without the innovation component. The latest innovation technology helping innovation processes management may bring a substantial contribution to the efficient and at the same time, a stable development of any enterprise sphere of service. These conditions provide the importance of the study of innovative services. This study examines the development of innovation activities in the services sector. Using panel regression analysis, it was revealed that information and innovation factors have the most significant influence on the development of the service sector in the Russian Federation and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
