The advance of communication in museum area is due to the fact that in the last five years in Russia museums had modified a format of their activities. It means that museums changed their types of activities to multifunctional complex (including not-ordinary services to Russian market, such as cafes inside museums, using a lot of interactive content, etc). However, according to the recent findings, a big amount of Russian museums(especially outside Moscow) apply old and not efficient ways for attract an audience. This fact leads to a reduction in profits and interest in museums. However, in the last time changes in the industry and in the format of museum services demonstrates that famous Kotler`s strategy is not effectively in some cases, such as non-profit museums.
