Special Aspects of Communications Strategy Development for Social Business Projects during an Economic Crisis

Business as a part of the society is responsible for the solution of economic, social and environmental issues. The principles of corporate social responsibility have a high value abroad. However, in Russia this practice is just gaining popularity. The problem of CSR is acute in times of economic crisis, when Russian companies need to maintain their image, start new international relations and attract foreign investment, but the economic situation is forcing companies to cut costs. In this paper the author reveals the trends and patterns of implementation of CSR projects in Russia in the crisis from 2008 to 2009 and from 2014 to the present and develops recommendations for the implementation of CSR in times of crisis.
