E-learning Platforms: Promotion and Сommunication Features with the Audience

The present research is intended to cover promotional issues pertaining in the domain of online education. Due to the recent emergence of e-learning in Russia national platforms of massive open online courses (MOOCs) have achieved insignificant progress in developing their product. Hence, the general purpose of this project is to make recommendations for marketers specializing in the distance education sphere. The questionnaire in combination with qualitative methods – in-depth and expert interviews – helps to illuminate the insights of Russian users belonging to various demographics groups. The anticipated results could advance our understanding of the demand of online education in our country and could be easily adapted for practical purposes. The project begins with marketing analysis of the global e-learning market, and then describes Russian platforms; secondly, recent developments in the online education area are addressed, and finally practical recommendations are discussed.
