Model Transformation of Spanish Social State at the Present Stage

This paper provides research of transformations of Spanish social welfare state. The first part is devoted to theoretical base - the term and functions of welfare state in general. The second part examines the history of Spanish state organization, gives explanation of current situation in the country on the eve of world economic crisis and analyzes anti-crisis policy of Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE). The third part provides information about reforms of People’s Party (PP) and gives forecast for the economy based on the most significant factors.
