Influence of Economic Crises on the Structure of Energy Balance of Developed and Developing Countries Between 1973 and 2009

This graduate qualification work is devoted to the impact of economic crises on the structure of primary energy supply of developed and developing countries between 1973 and 2009. The regression analysis using panel data with main components, showing trade and industrial development of a country and characterizing a state of the internal market in terms of prices and employment, and a dummy variable, indicating the presence or absence of crisis during each year, as regressors was made in order to identify the correlation under investigation. This work revealed a number of differences in the impacts of crises on structure of energy balance of developed and developing countries, it also allowed to give some recommendation for further study of the issue under consideration.
