Causes and Feautures of Financial Crises in Asia from 1998 to 2015

In this paper the financial crisis in Asia 1997-1999 is examined. The author tries to analyse all available information and answer the following questions: 1. Is the Asian crisis of 1997-1999 anyhow responsible for today's instability in Asian economy? 2. Could the world have predicted the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 based on the Asian crisis experience?
