International Tourism in Brazil: Major Trends and Prospects

Today Brazil can be attributed to the list of high-priority tourist destinations, and there are many premises for the development of international tourism on its territory. Theoretical aspects of the concept of international tourism, its essence, classification and the system of performance indicators for its development are studied in the research. Current trends of international tourism in the world and in Brazil were analyzed as well as the characteristics of the regional tourist offer and competitiveness factors. In addition, the research identifies the problems and prospects of tourism development in the country and possibility to intensify the tourist relations between Brazil and Russia.
