Japanese Corporate Model’ Implementation Abroad: the Case Study of European Countries

Japan is one of the leading economies in the world. She ranks third in the global ranking of countries by GDP and, of course, is an important partner of the European Union. Japanese companies operate on the European market since 1990-ies, and during this time has managed to occupy a decent market share in the automotive industry and electronics, successfully competing with local and foreign companies. One of the main success factors of the Japanese is their business model, which has experienced a significant transformation in recent years, in response to changing external and internal conditions. As a result, the efficiency of modern models is questioned by some experts. But according to the author of this work, despite the fact that transformed model has lost some of its former advantages, it managed to acquire other, which vary depending on countries. Therefore, it seems interesting to identify the features of hybrid models in the European region, due to the presence of favorable conditions for the successful implementation of the Japanese corporate model of organization and management .
